We have several updates for you, including some upcoming events you don't want to miss!
FALL LADDER LEAGUE: We had a great response to our upcoming fall ladder league, scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 27th for 8 weeks. The AM session is full, but there are still some spots available in the PM session. You can sign up for this event on SPOND today. Registration closes tonight!
EVENT CALENDAR: Please refer to our event calendar for all event information and updates. There is a tab at the top of our website, after you are on the calendar, just click the event and it will open up with all the details of that event. INDOOR COURTS CLOSED: The indoor courts will be closed on Saturday, Oct. 7th for the Hartwell Helps Expo. They will be coming in Friday, Oct. 6th at 4:30pm to put tape on the floor to mark off where the tables will go and then they will be in the gym all day on Saturday! The outdoor courts will remain open during the normal Y hours.
DINKING TOURNAMENT will be held on Saturday, October 21st. from 8:00am-12:00pm, with people playing either from 8:00-10:00 or 10:00-12:00. For each session, the top 8 high scorers will participate in a Dink-Off to decide the winners. This event will be posted on SPOND soon with a maximum of 80 players (40 per session), being played on both inside and outside courts. It is individual registration, so you will not sign up with a partner. Registration will close on October 1st, and the teams and times of play will be drawn on October 4th. Since it's football season, plan to bring a tailgate dish to share. If it rains, we will postpone to another date.
PICKLEBALL ETIQUETTE: We have had a few updates to the Pickleball Etiquette and Player Info sheet. The additions have been highlighted in red.
